DX Architects have a proven track record of delivering high quality architectural space from Melbourne’s inner-city to regional Victoria. Specialising in contemporary residential builds, heritage restoration and commercial architecture, our close-knit team have a particular interest in projects that will enhance the way you live.

The Journey.

Established in 2007 by Daniel Xuereb, DX Architects has proudly garnered numerous awards over its nearly two-decade existence. However, our journey began with a remarkably humble origin. As Daniel undertook the renovation of his family home, he, along with his wife and their first of three daughters, resided on the first floor of our Richmond office, laying the foundation for what would become our thriving practice.

Over the years, Daniel’s passion for commercial, residential and heritage architecture has become the cornerstone of our practice. We possess a profound appreciation for the distinctive allure and character of Melbourne’s buildings, inspiring us to seamlessly integrate modern aesthetics with the city’s rich architectural heritage.

Since its humble beginnings, our team has grown, bringing together a diverse group of talented architects and designers. This team now designs award-winning homes that are regularly published in architectural magazines. However, we understand that navigating the architectural realm can be overwhelming and intricate. That’s why, at DX Architects, we make it a priority to guide you through each step of the process and communicate in a manner that ensures understanding. Design Approach.

Simply, we believe that each project is unique and is personalised to your values and lifestyle. Choosing an architect for your new home or renovation can be an overwhelming experience and that is why we like to work with you rather than simply providing a service. The process does not have a singular vision or linear trajectory. Each home is different, changing and adapting as we work through the journey with you. It is the contribution and close collaboration within our team, but most importantly of our clients, you.

DX Architects offer a flexible service tailored specifically to suit client needs, as we take the time to get to know you. We want to know how you will use the spaces, what brings you peace and contentment in your home and how your project is going to forever influence how you live day to day. We provide an end-to-end service, from the initial consultation and concept designs, down to the nitty gritty in design development, planning and documentation, and finally contract administration and practical completion. We are here every step of the way to help with decision making processes and ensure that you feel in control of the design. As a multi-disciplinary studio, we engage various staff members throughout the entire design process, to ensure that you have multiple opinions leading to the best possible solution for you.
